Are you a dreamer?
Dreamers create a better world through their ability to see beyond the realities of the current one.
Our world would be a very different place without the dreamers who have left their mark.
It is easier sometimes not dream. When life is challenging and your dreams seem to be beyond your reach.
What are your dreams?
How are you going to make them reality?
Funktionlust is the German word for doing something for the love of it.
Something that we rarely experience in our busy world.
Most of life is geared towards survival mode and everything seems to be done with the bottom line in mind.
What do you love doing?
Go and discover your funktionlust!
Everyday you create something.
You may love or hate it. But either way it is your creation.
Creating is as much part of life as breathing.
Sometimes it is easy and sometimes it is difficult.
What are you creating today?

We spend a great deal of our lives minimising ourselves and the positive effect we have on the world.
2012 is a good year to start focusing on the positives instead of the negatives.
“The ultimate leadership mantra: “How may I best serve the most people?”.Period”
Tweeted by Robin Scharma
I read this tweet yesterday and realised that our leaders, be they global or local, aren’t anywhere near that ideal.
If we look at their actions, it would appear that they are more interested in serving themselves first and everyone else second.
Should we blame them for this behaviour or our society?
The world faces seemingly insurmountable problems that seem beyond the ability of our leaders to solve.
One possible solution to our leadership vacuum is start practising leadership of self. This would have an immediate impact on everything and everyone we come into contact with.
Self leadership is difficult in that we have no one else to blame for our own failings except ourselves.
Society, the economy, our boss and a variety of factors can no longer blamed when our lives are difficult.
So we can continue complain about our leaders or we can work on our own leadership skills.
The choice as always is ours.
What do you choose?
